About Cedarfield

The mission of Cedarfield and Pinnacle Living is “Enriching Life’s Journey”

Premier Senior Living

At Cedarfield, our sense of community is exemplified by our team’s commitment to service and hospitality. In our community, age does not define the person. Team members and volunteers go the extra mile every single day to provide services and programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents. In turn, the residents provide the heart, soul, and purpose that makes Cedarfield a premier active retirement community.

Cedarfield opened in September 1996 — celebrating more than 24 years of service to the Richmond community and continue to expand our services and offerings.

Cedarfield is located on an elegant campus of 90 beautiful acres in western Henrico County, near Richmond, Virginia, where residents find an active lifestyle perfectly balanced by peaceful relaxation. Art classes, multi-level fitness activities, excursions and trips, lectures and learning, entertainment, and volunteer opportunities present you with the lifestyle choices you deserve Should your situation change at any time, you and your loved ones can be comforted in the knowledge that Cedarfield is a continuing care retirement community, and you will always have access to the best services for your unique needs.

The location close to the historical, architectural, and cultural sights and sounds of the best parts of Richmond, Virginia is a great benefit to living here. But you do not have to leave home to stay active. Cedarfield residents are highly engaged in our Residents’ Council and serve on committees dedicated to continued growth and improvement for all residents. Our volunteer community is energetic and highly diverse, ranging from medical escorts to musicians to activities helpers. There is something for everyone and is ideally suited to your individual gifts and interests.

Cedarfield is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Fewer than 15% of peer communities in the U.S. have earned CARF accreditation.

Let us show you that at Cedarfield, retirement living means you really can have it all.
